Learner consultation
Using our unique four-level service delivery model, we guide you through a personalised learning pathway, helping you understand more about your learning differences and strengths, showing you how to manage transition points strategically, teaching key academic skills when needed, and keeping you on track to achieve your academic goals. After each session, you will receive comprehensive notes; they are your roadmap to academic success.
Our approach is practical, strengths-based, and holistic. We know that if you feel good about your learning, good grades follow.
1. Orientate
Helps you understand and make the most of your learning differences and strengths. Reviews your current learning situation next to interests and obstacles, creates goals, and directs you towards the right academic pathway.
2. Navigate
Puts you firmly on the pathway to achieving your learning goals. Gives you a clear understanding of special assessment conditions, institutional and course expectations, support services, funding options, assistive technology and more.
3. Develop
Teaches academic and other skills to even your learning pathway: memory skills, critical thinking, reading/writing development, workload management, group confidence, test preparation, academic resilience, research competency and more.
4. Track
Ensures you stay on the learning pathway. Weekly or biweekly sessions focus on academic and personal resilience, scheduling, and coursework requirements. Particularly useful for learners with attentional and/or avoidant traits.
Coaching
Personal
If you have difficulty keeping to your goals and tasks, then these regular meetings will help you stay on track. With the focus on resilience and life-work-study balance and using scheduling tools suited to how you learn (time-based, task-based, or visual), we encourage you to actively refine and actively prioritise your tasks. After each session, you will receive follow-up notes; they are your roadmap to well-being. This service is for anybody who considers themselves neurodivergent and/or neurospicy; but is particularly helpful for people with attentional, avoidant and/or anxious tendencies.
